Her role was about to become a management one, and she felt her lack of vocabulary was an impediment to gaining the staff respect and co-operation she would need. It was an unusual set of circumstances warranting one-to-one tuition rather than any kind of college day-release or evening course, and we had no idea where we might find such training in a cost-effective way and without restricting her availability to our clients. We were fortunate to find out about what Zen Languages can offer, and how prepared they were to tailor to our requirements and suggest options for funding grants. INTERNATIONAL EVENTS
‘In 2008 we were asked to organise and host Prognosfruit, the world's leading conference for the apple and pear industries, which is held annually in Europe. More than two hundred delegates attended the three day programme. Zen were commissioned to manage the event and to organise and provide interpreters, reception staff, sound, lighting and the stage.
